Super League: Palestinian Player Layth Kharoub Joins KDN FC

KOTA BHARU, Following in the footsteps of his younger brother Oday Kharoub, 31, who has been representing Kelantan Darul Naim (KDN) FC in the 2024/2025 Super League season since March, Layth Kharoub has now been confirmed as the team’s new import player this season.

KDN FC, in a statement tonight, announced that the 33-year-old former Palestinian international player, who plays as a winger and can also function as a striker, has joined the team.

“He joined the squad after undergoing a rigorous selection process with the coaching staff since July, including featuring in a friendly match against Nara United FC from Thailand,” the statement said.

Layth’s international career began in 2020, where he earned 11 caps and scored five goals for the Palestinian national team.

Previously, KDN FC terminated the contracts of two foreign strikers, Valdumar Augusto Te from Guinea-Bissau and Chadrack Lukombe Muzungu from Congo.
