SUNGAI MUSAH BRIDGE CLOSED TO PUBLIC

The Sungai Musah bridge on Jalan Tekait-Musah, about 21km from Song town, has been closed to the public due to damage caused by soil erosion in the area.

The damage to the 166 metre-long bridge was detected at about 9.30 pm yesterday.

Katibas Assemblyman Lidam Assan, who visited the site last night, said the road was now closed to all vehicles and warning signs have been put up in the area,” he said when met today.

He said the State Public Works Department will inspect the bridge to determine the cause of the damage and decide on the next course of action.
