Sultan Of Selangor Reiterates Disappointment With Abuse Of Children Linked To GISBH

The Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah has once again expressed his disappointment over the abuse and neglect of children linked to GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH).

Through a post on the Facebook of the Royal Selangor Office, His Royal Highness said it shows that GISBH does not understand that children have rights that need to be respected and treated with respect.

The Sultan said the children have the right to live and stay in a peaceful and safe environment and away from crimes such as molestation, sodomy, abuse, forced marriage and divorce, forced labour, to be separated from their parents and forced to claim as orphans. Sultan Sharafuddin said he shared the essence of today’s Friday sermon ‘Kenapa GISBH Buat Begini Kepada Kanak-Kanak’ (Why GISBH Did This to Children) which was delivered in mosques in Selangor.

The sermon reminded the community that children are a trust from Allah SWT, and it is the responsibility of the community to protect their dignity and welfare.

It also emphasised th
e important roles of parents, guardians, and charitable organisations in shaping a bright future for children by creating a safe and nurturing environment.
