Queen Attends Hi-tea In Conjunction With Conference Of Rulers’ Meeting


KUALA LUMPUR, Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia, graced a hi-tea event held in conjunction with the 267th Meeting of the Conference of Rulers at Istana Negara here today.

Also in attendance were the Raja Permaisuri of Perak Tuanku Zara Salim, Sultanah of Terengganu Sultanah Nur Zahirah, Tunku Ampuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Aishah Rohani Tengku Besar Mahmud, Sultanah of Kelantan Sultanah Nur Diana Petra and Sultanah of Kedah Sultanah Maliha Tengku Ariff.

Che’ Puan Mahkota Khaleeda Johor and Raja Puan Muda of Kedah Che Puan Muda Zaheeda Mohamad Ariff were also present.

Tunku Tun Aminah Sultan Ibrahim was among the royal guests who attended the event.

In addition, the wives of state governors were present, including Toh Puan Norlidah RM Jasni (Sabah), Toh Puan Asmah Abdul Rahman (Melaka), Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi (Sarawak), Toh Puan Khadijah Mohd Nor (Penang), along with Datin Seri Ruziah Mohd Tahir, the wife of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.

e opportunity to mingle and take photographs with approximately 300 guests at the event, which was enlivened by performances from the Yayasan Warisan Johor artists.

The 267th Meeting of the Conference of Rulers, chaired by Deputy Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, is being held over two days at Istana Negara starting today.
