The Pahang chapter of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) restructured its State Leadership Council (MPN) in a meeting held on Sept 23.
The restructuring was in line with the new appointment of Pahang PKR MPN chairman Rizal Jamin by PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim through the Central Leadership Council (MPP) meeting on Sept 15.
Rizal, who was previously the deputy chairman of Pahang PKR, replaces Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Dr Fuziah Salleh, who was appointed as the new PKR secretary-general. Rizal, who is also the Lipis Division chief, expressed hope that the new leadership team would fulfil the party president’s aspirations through the MADANI agenda.
‘I believe that this team is a continuation of the previous leadership when Pahang PKR was led by Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari (Selangor Menteri Besar) and Fuziah,’ he said in a statement today.
The MPN includes Pahang PKR advisors comprising Amirudin, Fuziah, and MyHSR Corporation Sdn Bhd (MyHSR Corp) chairman Datuk Seri Fauzi Abdul R
ahman.
Kuantan Division chief Fakhrul Anuar Zulkawi was chosen as deputy chairman, while the vice-chairmen roles were filled by Pahang Consumer Affairs and Human Resources Committee chairman Sim Chon Siang, Senator Manolan Mohamad, and Kuala Krau Division chief Mohamad Hafeez Harun.
Semambu assemblyman Chan Chun Kuang remains as Pahang Youth chief, and Haslindalina Hashim continues as the Women’s wing chief, while Farahida Fauzi takes on the role of Pahang PKR secretary.
