Over 1,100 Orang Asli Families In Johor Receive Food Aid From YSIJ


KUALA LUMPUR, A total of 1,174 Orang Asli families from the districts of Muar, Tangkak, and Segamat in Johor have received food baskets from the Sultan Ibrahim Johor Foundation (YSIJ).

According to a post on His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim’s official Facebook page, the contributions are part of YSIJ’s community outreach activities aimed at helping those in need across various districts in the state.

Today, food baskets were distributed to 764 families in the Segamat district during a ceremony held at the Orang Asli village of Kampung Kudung, Bekok.

Meanwhile, food basket donations for the Orang Asli communities in Muar and Tangkak were delivered on Sept 19 at a ceremony held at Kampung Orang Asli Air Tawas, Tangkak.

The distribution involved 410 food baskets, benefiting 180 families from Tangkak and 230 families from Muar.
