NENGGIRI NEEDS FEDERAL GOV’T ‘TOUCH’ – GUA MUSANG UMNO

Residents in the Nenggiri state constituency need to trust Barisan Nasional (BN) and give it the opportunity to serve the area, Gua Musang UMNO Division deputy chief Mohd Syahbuddin Hashim said.

He added that the Nenggiri commuity needed the Federal Government’s ‘touch’ to develop the area.

‘We believe if BN is given the mandate and support from all parties, then Nenggiri will change,’ he told reporters at the Kembara Ini Warisan Kita programme at Kampung Batu Papan here today.

The Election Commission (EC) has set the Nenggiri by-election on Aug 17, with nominations on Aug 3 and early voting on Aug 13.

On June 19, Kelantan State Legislative Assembly Speaker Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah declared the Nenggiri vacant after he was informed that its assemblyman Mohd Azizi Abu Naim had ceased to be a member of Bersatu on June 13.
