Naptha AI Secures $6 Million to Advance AGI with Multi-Agent Systems.


San Francisco: Naptha AI, a cutting-edge platform that orchestrates multiple AI agents to optimize performance and drive innovation, announced a $6 million pre-seed raise, co-led by Arche Capital and Cyber Fund. This initial fundraise positions Naptha AI at the forefront of the next evolution of artificial intelligence. The round also saw participation from several prominent industry angels and venture capitalists, including Seed Club Ventures, the first investor in Stability AI, along with Polymorphic Capital, GnosisDAO, Halo Capital, among others. This funding is a critical step towards advancing the evolution of artificial intelligence, shifting from isolated large language models to interconnected and specialized multi-agent systems. These systems aim to create collaborative, adaptive, and economically beneficial agentic networks utilizing Multi-Agent Universal Intelligence (MAUI).

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Naptha AI was co-founded by Chief Executive Officer Mark Schmidt and Chief Scientific Offi
cer Richard Blythman. Mark Schmidt has been an early contributor to pivotal open-source AI projects like llama.cpp and agent frameworks such as AutoGPT. He previously served as a founding engineer at Duo and Firefox Support Lead at Mozilla. Richard Blythman, with a PhD in Engineering from Trinity College Dublin and Bell Labs, has experience as a machine learning engineer at Huawei and Xperi. He was an early pioneer in the decentralized AI space and previously founded Algovera.
