More Public Parking Space At Teluk Intan Hospital

Teluk Intan Member of Parliament Nga Kor Ming today announced the contribution of RM122,500 to upgrade the health facilities at the Teluk Intan Hospital.

Nga, also the Minister of Housing and Local Government, said the contribution is to provide electrocardiogram (ECG), cardiotocography (CTG) and haemodialysis machines for the hospital.

“This is in addition to the RM800,000 allocated to upgrade the public parking area at the hospital, which can accommodate an additional 250 parking spaces,’ he said when officiating the launch of the hospital’s public parking area here today.

Also present was Teluk Intan Hospital director Dr Khairul Baharin Mohd Baharuddin.

Nga said the hospital previously lacked parking space as it could only accommodate 500 vehicles.

He also said the Teluk Intan Hospital, which has 548 beds and about 2,000 personnel, provided crucial services to people in five nearby districts, including patients from Sabak Bernam, Selangor.
