MILO To Organise Champions Clinics For Children Next Week

KUALA LUMPUR, In line with plans to encourage grassroots development through sports, MILO will be organising a series of Champions Clinics for children from Aug 24 to 30 at 16 locations throughout the country.

MILO Malaysia said in a statement yesterday that those interested can register for the programme according to the various locations and dates at its official website www.milo.com.my.

‘Parents can register their children and accredited coaches are invited to list themselves as coaches on this platform at the following link: https://www.milo.com.my/get-active/milo-champions-clinic-get-active.

‘A commitment fee of RM35 for two subjects will be charged to allow children to test their interest in sports,’ the company said, adding that sports offered on the platform include football, futsal, badminton, squash, bowling, surfskate and muay thai.

‘A total of 870 youth participated in the programme last year, which initially served as a platform to seek out coaches and to boost participation and basic coachi
ng.

‘All coaches and academies listed are recognised by the National Sports Council to ensure quality modules and guidance,’ the company said.
