PUTRAJAYA, The Department of Fisheries (DOF) has made its mark in the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) by creating a 100-metre-long tuna sandwich formation, titled ‘100 Years MAHA 2024’.

In a statement today, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu said this unique sandwich formation, the first of its kind in Malaysia, was accomplished in partnership with the Faculty of Food Science and Technology at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

The ‘100 Years MAHA 2024’ tuna sandwich was prepared by UPM students and staff, alongside DOF personnel.

species worth RM13,000,into the MAEPS lake.

MAHA 2024, themed ‘Harvesting Tomorrow Where Dreams Blossom,’ runs for 12 days starting from Sept 11.

The event aims to attract three million visitors, secure RM6 billion in memoranda of understanding, and achieve RM40 million in direct sales.
