MAHA 2024: 10 Perlis Entrepreneurs Record Sales Of Over RM390,000, Surpassing Target

KANGAR, The sales value recorded by 10 Perlis entrepreneurs during the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism (MAHA) Exhibition 2024, from Sept 11 to yesterday (Sept 22), was RM394,787.40 which exceeded the set target of between RM200,000 and RM250,000.

Perlis Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) director Mohd Anzara Azizan said the sales value was based on five clusters namely the Perak Pavilion, Kingdom of Agrofood, Food Empire and Viral, Foodtruck Fiesta and Agrobazaar Online.

‘In MAHA 2024, a total of 10 entrepreneurs from Perlis successfully participated in sales involving 13 sales lots at the Perak Pavilion, Kingdom of Agrofood, Food Empire and Viral and Foodtruck Fiesta,’ he said in a statement today.

‘There was a variety of 47 products involving Basic Agricultural Food Industry (IMAT) products as well as food and beverages produced in Perak.’

He said the Perak Pavilion cluster recorded a sales value of RM206,271.40, Kingdom of Agrofood (RM39,995.20), Food Empire and Viral (
RM95,445), Foodtruck Fiesta (RM19,364.80) and Agrobazaar Online (RM33,711).

MAHA, organised biennially, was held at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS), Selangor.
