Local gold futures end lower with 79 lots traded

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 23 (Bernama) — The gold futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower on Thursday with 79 lots traded.

The gold futures contract for the spot month of February 2023 fell to US$1,827.80 per troy ounce, while March 2023 dropped to US$1,835.30 per troy ounce.

Contracts for April 2023, May 2023, June 2023, and August 2023 all settled at US$1,844.70 per troy ounce.

The price of physical gold stood at US$1,835.75 per troy ounce as published by the London Bullion Market Association afternoon fix on Feb 22, 2023.
