Lao leaders highly value contributions by former Vietnamese volunteer soldiers,


Major General Huynh Dac Huong, head of the national liaison board for former Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and military experts helping Laos is leading a delegation on a visit to Laos from September 22-26, at an invitation of the country’s Ministry of National Defence. On September 23, they were received by General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Chansamone Chanyalath, and head of the LPRP Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations Thongsavanh Phomvihane.

Earlier the same day, the delegation visited a boarding culture and ethnicity school of the Lao People’s Army which was funded by the Vietnam People’s Army. On this occasion, they presented 35 computer sets to the school.
