Kelantan Branch UiTM Launches ‘No One Left Behind’ Fund For PwD Students

MACHANG, The Kelantan branch Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) today launched the ‘No One Left Behind’ Fund to repair and upgrade existing facilities for students with disabilities on the campus.

Kelantan Branch UiTM D’Banquers Association adviser Putra Faizurrahman Zahid said the funds will be used to improve facilities, including toilets, for people with disabilities (PwDs).

“Previously, the Kelantan branch UiTM’s Service and Development Division for PwDs (U-DServeD) used to rent portable toilets, but they were seen as not suitable for PwD students.

“Therefore, we need to upgrade the toilets to make them PwD-friendly and this requires about RM15,000. It is hoped that through this fund, we will be able to achieve the target,” he said when met by Bernama at the campus here today.

Meanwhile, Kelantan Branch UiTM U-DServeD coordinator Noor Azreen Alimin said there are more than 40 PwDs, comprising students and UiTM staff, at the campus.

Those to the fund can be made at the social media platforms of the Kel
antan UiTM branch D’Banquers Association, namely Instagram, TikTok and YouTube applications or through the Islamic Bank account to UiTM AAD1 Kelantan at account number 03045010004053.
