JPJ Dg Visits Wisma Bernama, Strengthens Ties With Media

KUALA LUMPUR, The Road Transport Department (JPJ) director-general Aedy Fadly Ramli visited the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) today as part of the effort to strengthen relationships with media practitioners.

Aedy Fadly said it was also to forge ties with the news agency in disseminating information related to JPJ’s services and programmes, further enhancing the department’s image.

‘We want to make the media practitioners a friend of JPJ by helping us to widely disseminate the programmes that we implement and Bernama as a media agency of the government can assist,’ he said during the visit.

Upon arrival at 4.30 pm, the JPJ delegation was greeted by Bernama’s editor-in-chief, Arul Rajoo Durar Raj, deputy editor-in-chief (News Service) Nasriah Darus, deputy editor-in-chief (Economic News Service) Azlina Aziz, and its senior officials.

Aedy Fadly was taken on a tour of the Editorial Department, Bernama TV, the Digital Media Division, and Bernama Radio and briefed about the news agency’s operations
.

Arul Rajoo said Bernama was ready to help disseminate JPJ’s programmes and services on various platforms.

An agency under the Communications Ministry, Bernama has been the national news source since May 20, 1968. It can be followed on various social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, X, Instagram, and YouTube.
