Jorge Martin Claims Victory at Malaysian MotoGP Sprint Race.


SEPANG: Following are the 2024 Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix (MotoGP) sprint race results at the Sepang International Circuit here today: Jorge Martin of Prima Pramac Racing took the lead, finishing the race in 19 minutes 49.230 seconds.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Marc Marquez from the Repsol Honda Team secured second place, trailing Martin by 0.913 seconds. Enea Bastianini of Ducati Lenovo Team completed the podium, finishing 2.010 seconds behind the winner. Alex Marquez, representing Gresini Racing MotoGP, crossed the line in fourth place, followed by Fabio Quartararo of Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP, who finished 7.917 seconds off the lead.

Further down the field, Franco Morbidelli, also from Prima Pramac Racing, secured sixth position, while Brad Binder and Jack Miller, both from Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, ended in seventh and eighth place respectively. Pedro Acosta of Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 and Marco Bezzecchi from Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team rounded out the top ten.

Other notable finis
hes include Alex Rins of Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP in 11th place and Aleix Espargaro of Aprilia Racing in 12th. Maverick Viñales, also from Aprilia Racing, finished 14th, with Luca Marini of the Repsol Honda Team coming in 15th.

The race had its share of non-classified riders, including Johann Zarco from LCR Honda, who completed only 7 laps, and Francesco Bagnaia from the Ducati Lenovo Team, who managed just 2 laps.
