Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) have advanced to the FA Cup final after defeating Kedah Darul Aman FC (KDA FC) with a 5-1 aggregate score following a 3-0 victory tonight.
In the second leg of the semi-final at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, JDT’s Muhammad Feroz Baharudin opened the scoring in the 49th minute.
Bergson Gustavo Silveira Da Silva added a second goal in the 75th minute with a header from a corner by Juan Muniz Gallego.
Gallego himself scored the third goal for JDT in the 82nd minute.
KDA FC’s Ebenezer Assifuah had a goal disallowed by VAR for offside, while their captain Sony Norde was sent off in the 84th minute after picking up a second yellow card in the match.
JDT edged out a 2-1 victory against Kedah in the first leg of the FA Cup semi-final at the Darul Aman Stadium on July 19.
