Icu Jpm To Monitor Progress Of Sejati Madani Projects – Muhammad Kamil

PADANG RENGAS, The Implementation Coordination Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department (ICU JPM) in Perak will closely monitor the progress of the Sejahtera Komuniti MADANI (SejaTi MADANI) programme throughout the state.

Political Secretary to the Finance Minister Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim said the government has so far approved an allocation RM32 million for 346 SejaTi MADANI projects in Perak.

He said the periodic monitoring by ICU JPM aims to ensure the success and proper implementation of projects undertaken by Village Development and Security Committees (JPKK).

‘The ICU JPM will receive updates from the JPKK regarding the projects implemented by the community.

‘We will then visit the site to observe any issues that arise and ensure that the projects proceed smoothly according to the set timelines,’ he told Bernama during a visit to the SejaTi MADANI Goat Farming Project by Kampung Pasir Batang Kulim JPKK here today.

Muhammad Kamil added that ICU JPM Perak has received 761 SejaTi MADANI application
s, with the number expected to increase.

‘Most JPKK projects in Perak focus on agriculture, livestock, plantation and agro-tourism, which fall under SejaTi MADANI’s categories,’ he said.

Earlier, JPM donated RM7,000 through the Ziarah Kasih MADANI programme to seven B40 recipients in Padang Rengas.

Muhammad Kamil said he also distributed aid to five families in the Tambun parliamentary constituency yesterday to help alleviate their cost of living burden.

‘Through this programme, we also check in with residents, particularly those in the hardcore poverty category, to listen to their problems, address their needs and deliver contributions on behalf of the Prime Minister,’ he said.
