Hai Van Gate reopens for tourists after two years of restoration


The Hai Van Gate, located on the top of Hai Van Pass – the most beautiful pass in central Vietnam, was reopened for tourists on August 1 after two years of restoration. Lying 490m above sea level, on the border of Lang Co Town in Thua Thien-Hue Province’s Phu Loc district and Hoa Hiep Bac ward in Da Nang city’s Lien Chieu district, the Hai Van Gate relic is dubbed as ‘the most marvelous wonder’, where visitors can view the winding majestic Hai Van Pass or enjoy the pictureque panorama of the Da Nang Bay.
