BUKIT MERTAJAM: The first-ever ‘Generasi Ada Idea’ (GEN-AI) Carnival organised by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) today as a platform to approach and nurture community spirit among the youth attracted nearly 10,000 visitors.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, MCMC, in a statement issued today, said the one-day carnival held at the Gravitas parking lot, Jalan Baru Prai, here, was opened by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. “It is held to increase the awareness and sensitivity of youth on current issues and promotes a healthy lifestyle through various activities. One of the highlights of the carnival is a meeting session between the youth and Anwar,” read the statement.
MCMC highlighted that other programmes held during the carnival included a career carnival, meeting sessions with artistes and influencers, and concerts.
