Forecast Of Wet Morning On Mahkota By-election Candidate Nomination Day

The weather forecast is predicting rain tomorrow morning on the candidate nomination day of the Mahkota state by-election here.

The Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia) in a special weather forecast in conjunction with the candidate nomination day of the by-election uploaded on its Facebook account, also said that the weather in the afternoon will be fair.

METMalaysia also encourages the public to get the latest weather information on the department’s social media accounts or the website at www.met.gov.my.

The process of nominating candidates for the Mahkota state by-election will take place at Dewan Tunku Ibrahim Ismail here at 9 am tomorrow.

The by-election was held following the death of its incumbent Datuk Sharifah Azizah Syed Zain, 63, while being treated at Enche’ Besar Hajjah Khalsom Hospital here on August 2.

The Election Commission (EC) set the polling day on Sept 28, while early voting is on Sept 24.
