Flood Victims: Slight Increase In Kedah, Perak But Numbers Drop In Selangor Tonight

There was slight increase in the number of flood victims in Kedah and Perak but the flood situation in Selangor continued to improve, resulting in a drop in the number of flood victims at the Temporary Flood Relief centres (PPS).

In KEDAH, the number of flood victims in the state increased by another four victims, bringing the number of flood victims to 218 people from 68 families as of 8 pm tonight compared to 214 people from 67 families in the evening.

State Civil Defence Force Deputy Director Major (PA) Mohd Suhaimi Mohd Zain said all the victims were placed in seven temporary flood relief centers (PPS) in the Baling district.
