Eversendai’s Order Book Hits Record High Of RM6.7 Bln With Latest Contract Wins


KUALA LUMPUR, Eversendai Corporation Bhd has secured contracts worth RM1.1 billion for projects in Chennai, Mumbai, Singapore and Saudi Arabia.

This brings the group’s current outstanding order book to a record RM6.7 billion, executive chairman and group managing director Tan Sri AK Nathan said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

Eversendai India secured the composite structural steel and civil works project for the DLF Downtown Taramani Blocks 4 and 5, Chennai — its single largest contract win to date.

Meanwhile, Eversendai in Mumbai bagged the C65 commercial tower project, a 19-floor composite structure building, and the 30 Little Gibbs, a high-rise composite structure residential building in Malabar Hills, Mumbai.

In Singapore, the construction group secured the Founder’s Memorial project.

Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia, Eversendai clinched another structural steel subcontract works package for the Speed Park Track, Primary Pit and Motorsports Experience Centre.

According to Nathan, the projects wou
ld progressively enhance Eversendai’s turnover and profits.

‘The Eversendai group is on the path to reach greater heights in 2025 and beyond with the record high order book in hand,’ he said.

Going forward, the group said it expects to secure more lucrative high-profile projects in the Middle East and other countries where it currently operates.

Nathan said Eversendai Corp foresees progressive optimal utilisation of all its fabrication facilities with the current outstanding order book as the project momentum increases.
