ESNEWSLYTICS.AI PLATFORM HELPS COMPANIES ANALYSE ESG TOPICS

KUALA LUMPUR, PubliCT.io, a Malaysia-based public relations (PR) tech start-up, has introduced ESGNewslytics.AI, a platform designed to improve how companies analyse news coverage related to environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) topics.

Chief executive officer Manminder Kaur Dhillon said the ESGNewslytics.AI, equipped with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, serves the specific needs of communicators, investors and regulators.

‘By analysing extensive ESG news data, it provides real-time insights, sector-specific and industry-wide analysis, focusing on essential ESG topics,’ she said during the launch ceremony here, today.

Manminder said the platform’s analytics will offer companies critical insight to reevaluate and improve their ESG strategies.

She noted that by analysing media coverage of relevant ESG keywords, companies could gauge the effectiveness of their current initiatives and identify areas for enhancement.

Speaking to Bernama later, Manminder said that the company’
s goal was to help publicly listed companies in Malaysia to build data-driven ESG narratives.

She also encouraged small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to leverage the platform.

‘We encourage SMEs to start building the narrative. I know it is challenging for SMEs as they are still finding ways, but companies that are going to take them as vendors, for example, CelcomDigi, will look for SMEs that already practise ESG.

‘So, if SMEs want to eventually bid for contracts or become a partner for bigger companies, they will need their ESG strategy in place,’ she added.
