CO-OPBANK PERTAMA LAUNCHES IMPROVED PULIH 2.0 CAMPAIGN

KUALA LUMPUR, Koperasi Co-opbank Pertama Malaysia Bhd (CBP) has launched the second edition of its PULIH (PULIH 2.0) financial recovery campaign introduced last year for customers whose income has been reduced by 10 per cent of their original salary.

In a statement today, CBP said the campaign, which will run from June 1 to Dec 31, 2024, is an initiative aimed at reducing the financial burden of clients by allowing them to pay only half (50 per cent) of their original instalment for three years upon approval.

Chief executive officer Khairil Anuar Mohammad Anuar said the campaign has been improved by reducing the percentage of customers’ revenue reduction from 25 per cent in 2023 to 10 per cent this year.

Meanwhile, CBP said customers who are eligible to apply for the PULIH 2.0 campaign include those who are not bankrupt, incapable of managing debt, whose income has been negatively impacted, possess a positive net income and have not received any award from the Malaysia Co-operative Societies Commission’s
tribunal or civil suit judgment.

‘We hope this initiative will help increase customer awareness in managing their finances,’ it said.
