Cheras LeisureMall Sets Malaysia Book Of Records With 1,542 Lanterns Painted By Children For Mid-autumn Festival

KUALA LUMPUR, In conjunction with Mid-Autumn celebrations, Cheras LeisureMall has successfully broken the Malaysia Book of Records for ‘Most Hand-Painted Lanterns by Children’ yesterday with a total of 1,542 hand-painted lanterns made by children from 14 primary schools.

As an integral part of Mid-Autumn Festival, the lanterns embody the festival’s theme of reunion, hope and cultural heritage in line with Cheras LeisureMall’s theme ‘Moonlit Joys’.
