BOHEX Expected To Attract 100,000 Visitors.


Kota kinabalu: The Borneo International Halal Exhibition (BOHEX), set to be held at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) from December 21 to 25, is expected to attract around 100,000 visitors.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Eminent Source Sdn Bhd managing director Mohd Arieef Hafizi Mohd Hashim announced that 500 exhibition booths will be available, with BOHEX having already garnered international interest from participants hailing from Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore, China, Thailand, Japan, and Saudi Arabia. The event is organized by the company in collaboration with the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM).

Mohd Arieef highlighted that the exhibition will not only focus on halal food products but will also include other sectors such as clothing and logistics, aligning with the comprehensive concept of halal. Furthermore, the organizers have partnered with agencies like the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) participatin
g in the exhibition this year.

To facilitate visitor access, free bus transportation will be provided from six locations around Kota Kinabalu to the SICC. These locations include the Suria Sabah shopping complex, IMAGO, 1Borneo, ITTC, Kota Kinabalu International Airport, and the Pan Borneo Hotel.
