Binastra Secures Rm160 Mln Construction Contract


KUALA LUMPUR: Binastra Corporation Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary Binastra Builders Sdn Bhd has secured a RM160 million construction contract from Dynamicz Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Binastra said the contract involves the demolition and main building works of a proposed development of four floors of offices, comprising 560 units, one floor of facilities, a service area, and lifts with lift lobbies in Damansara Perdana, Selangor.

‘The contract shall commence on Aug 2, 2024, and is targeted to be completed on July 30, 2026. It is expected to provide an additional income stream for the group over the next three financial years,’ it said.

In a statement, Binastra Corporation managing director Datuk Jackson Tan Kak Seng said that with this new contract, the group’s total outstanding order book will be approximately RM2.2 billion, ensuring a strong pipeline of projects and a steady revenue stream in the coming years.
