Binastra Secures RM155 Mln Sewage Treatment Plant Project


KUALA LUMPUR, Binastra Corporation Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Binastra Builders Sdn Bhd, has bagged a RM155.01 million contract from Greenearth Landmark Sdn Bhd (GLSB).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the construction outfit said the contract is for the design and build of a membrane biological reactor-type sewage treatment plant in Sri Hartamas, which will have a capacity of 160,000 population equivalent capacity.

It said the project is expected to be completed within 36 months from the commencement date, which will be notified in due course by GLSB.

‘The contract is expected to provide an additional income stream for the group over the next four financial years,’ said Binastra.
