KUALA LUMPUR: Bina Puri Holdings Bhd’s subsidiary, Bina Puri Builder Sdn Bhd (BPB), has secured a RM113.29 million contract from Tokoh Ilham Sdn Bhd for a water supply project in Serian, Sarawak.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Bina Puri announced in a Bursa Malaysia filing that BPB will undertake the construction of water pipelines and the execution of civil and structural works as part of the water supply initiative. The project is labeled as the ‘Proposed Serian Regional Water Supply Phase II (Stage 1)’ and is under the jurisdiction of the Sarawak Rural Water Supply Department.
The company has outlined a completion timeline of 29 months, aiming for a target date of April 9, 2027. The project is expected to have a positive impact on the company’s future financial performance, contributing to improvements in earnings, earnings per share, net assets per share, and gearing.
