AEON Credit Issues RM350 Mln Sukuk To Fund Financing Disbursements


KUALA LUMPUR, AEON Credit Service (M) Bhd has issued the sixth senior sukuk issuance under its RM2 billion sukuk wakalah programme.

The issuance, with a nominal amount of RM350 million, was issued in two tranches comprising RM130 million for a five-year tenure and RM220 million for six years, it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

Proceeds from the senior sukuk will be utilised to fund financing and to refinance existing loans/financing or any sukuk issued by the company.

All utilisation of the sukuk programme proceeds will be shariah-compliant.
