2024 MAHA Perlis Pavilion Hopes To Surpass Sales Collection Of MAHA 2022

KANGAR, The Perlis State Pavilion is aiming to break the sales record of RM147,385 in 2022 in the coming 2024 Malaysian Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism Exhibition (MAHA).

Perlis Menteri Besar Mohd Shukri Ramli said the state pavilion received a total of 27,559 visitors in MAHA 2022 in the 11-day exhibition.

“I am confident it will be more crowded this time and will bring Perlis offerings closer to the community because the intensed promotion to attract the interest of young people to continue venturing into the agro-food sector by applying high modern technological expertise in developing their businesses,” he said.

He was speaking at the ‘flag off’ ceremony for Perlis entrepreneurs to MAHA 2024 and Dubai Global Village 2024 at his official residence here today.

MAHA 2024 will take place for 12 days starting on Sept 11 at the Malaysian Agricultural Expo Park Serdang (MAEPS), Selangor.

Mohd Shukri said a total of 10 Perlis entrepreneurs will be sent to participate in MAHA 2024 at the state’s pa
vilion to promote their respective businesses and products apart from having the opportunity to create wider business connections and networks.

Meanwhile, he said the state’s entrepreneurs will also participate in Dubai Global Village 2024 from Oct 1 to March 30 2025, which is the first success for six Perlis state entrepreneurs when they successfully break into the global market.
